Port Elizabeth is a city in South Africa, located in the Eastern Cape. The city is located on Algoa Bay, and is one of the largest ports in South Africa.
He had 1,005,776 inhabitants in 2001, and an estimated metropolitan area (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality) has about 1,500,000 inhabitants (59% Black, 23.5% mixed, 16.5% white and 1% Asian) . The three most spoken languages are Isi-Xhosa (57.5%), Afrikaans (30%) and English (12.5%). |
